200g butter, chopped
4 bacon rashers, finely chopped
200g button mushrooms, thinly sliced
2 garlic cloves, crushed
¼ cup parsley & thyme, finely chopped
4½ cups fresh breadcrumbs
350g French onion soup mix
4 eggs, lightly beaten
3 tbsp water
8 ham slices, halved lengthwise
1 Preheat your oven to 200°C (fan 180°C).
2 Melt the butter in your Whatever Pan over medium heat.
3 Add the chopped bacon and mushrooms and cook for 10–12 minutes until golden and any moisture has evaporated.
4 Stir in the garlic and herbs and cook for a further 1 minute until fragrant.
5 Transfer the mixture to a large bowl and allow to cool slightly.
6 Once cooled, add the breadcrumbs, French onion soup mix, beaten eggs and water. Mix thoroughly until well combined.
7 Shape the mixture into equal-sized balls. Wrap each ball with a strip of ham and secure with a cocktail stick.
8 Place the stuffing balls into a parchment-lined Whatever Pan.
9 Bake for 25–30 minutes until golden and cooked through.
10 Serve hot alongside your roast dinner or festive spread.
