The Whatever Pan Mixed Breakfast Bake

A rustic, oven-roasted twist on the Full English. Succulent sausages, crispy bacon, and vine-ripened tomatoes—all prepared in one single pan.

One Pan, No Mess, Ultimate Flavor

This Mixed Breakfast Bake takes the components of a classic fry-up and intensifies their flavors through oven-roasting.

The Whatever Pan is the star of this show. Its cast aluminum construction allows you to start by searing your sausages and bacon on the stovetop to get that essential golden-brown crust, before transferring the whole pan into the oven. The ridges in the pan help elevate the ingredients, allowing the heat to circulate and the juices from the tomatoes and garlic to create a natural, savory sauce that ties the whole dish together. It’s a sophisticated, “set-and-forget” breakfast that’s perfect for hosting.

35 mins

4 high-quality breakfast sausages
4 slices thick-cut bacon
220g small mushrooms (Chestnut or Button)
16 cocktail tomatoes, halved
2 cloves garlic, finely chopped
1 tbsp olive oil
4 large eggs
Handful flat-leaf parsley, chopped
Kosher salt & black pepper, to taste
Crusty toast, to serve

1 Preheat your oven to 180°C / 400°F.

2 Place your Whatever Pan on the stovetop over medium-high heat. Lightly sear the sausages and bacon for 3-4 minutes until they begin to brown. (They don’t need to be cooked through yet).

3 While the meat sears, use your Chopaholic Chef’s Knife to clean the mushrooms and halve the cocktail tomatoes.

4 In your Medium Mixing Bowl, toss the mushrooms, tomatoes, and chopped garlic with olive oil. Season generously with salt and pepper.

5 Add the vegetable mix into the Whatever Pan, nestling them around the sausages and bacon. Transfer the pan to the oven and roast for 10 minutes.

6 Remove the pan briefly. Use a spoon to create four small wells among the ingredients. Carefully crack one egg into each well.

7 Return the pan to the oven for a further 8–10 minutes, or until the egg whites are set but the yolks remain beautifully runny.

8 Garnish with fresh chopped parsley and serve directly from the pan with thick slices of buttered toast.
