The Whatever pan is 4.5cm/1.8in deep.
How big is the Whatever Pan?
The Whatever Pan is 27cm/10.6in long.
Does the Whatever Pan work on induction hobs?
Yes, the Whatever Pan works on any hob/stovetop.
Can the Whatever Pan be placed in the oven?

Does the Whatever Pan come with a lid?
Yes it comes with a lid which can also be placed in the oven in temperatures up to a 180°C / 350 °F
How do I clean the Whatever Pan
Always let your pan cool completely before cleaning. Washing a hot pan in cold water can cause the metal to irreversibly warp because of the sudden changes in temperature. Only use non-abrasive cleaners and sponges to avoid scratches. Always hand wash your pan and avoid dishwasher use to protect it from discolouration and potentially diminishing its non-stick properties. To remove stubborn food residue, soak your pan in warm, soapy water for a few hours before gently scrubbing. To remove minor stains or water spots, wipe your pan with vinegar or lemon juice and then rinse with water.
Can I use metal utensils with the pan?
Avoid metal utensils. Although Jean Patrique cast aluminium is very durable, it is best practice to use wood, plastic or silicone utensils instead of metal.
Can the silicone handles be placed in the oven?
We recommend placing the pan in the oven without the handles and putting the handles back on when you take the pan out.
What steel are the Chopaholic Knives constructed from?
Our Chopaholic Series is forged from 3CR13 High Carbon steel (X30), with 13% chromium and 3% carbon. It has a HRC of 55, and is the same steel used in surgical instruments and other precision industries.
Do the knives need sharpening?
It depends on how often you use them and whether you take good care of them. So we simply recommend sharpening your knives whenever you feel like they aren't as sharp as the first day you bought them. :)
What is the best way to sharpen your knives?
The Best way to sharpen your knives is with a sharpening steel or an electric knife sharpener. We sell a few on our website here:

Are the knives suitable for left handed people?
Our knives are designed symmetrically, so they are suitable for both right handed and left handed people.
Are the knives dishwasher safe?
Although designed and stress tested to work in a fully professional, constant use environment - we do not recommend dishwashing as the high carbon content in the steel (which is what lets the knife keep edge, angle, and strength) will wear faster. A simple wash with water and soap is all it takes and is recommended. This will maximise the life of your knives.
