Helping to make food preparation in the kitchen more efficient, the microwave rice cooker with spoon and measuring cup, will make cooking quick and easy. Made using strong and durable white plastic, the cooker includes a deep bowl, vented cover and a lid with clasps at the side for a secure fastening. Place your rice into the cup and then fill the cup with water until the rice is submerged by at least 1 cm. Place the vent and lid on top, fasten the clips and place in the microwave for at least 7 min, depending on your wattage. Once ready, carefully remove from the microwave, unclip the lid and lift off, let the excess steam release and use the spoon to scoop up and serve the rice into a bowl or onto your plate. Dishwasher safe for ease of cleaning, the rice cooker is an essential kitchenware for regular rice eaters.

Perfect microwave rice

We’ve had a Tesco rice maker for about 10 years but it is now obsolescent.
This new one produces perfect Basmati rice in 10 minutes. It is easy to clean and efficient. Totally recommended if you like perfect rice every time.

This Rice maker really works!

I was a little sceptical when I first received this as with most microwave ideas - however my teenage daughter tried this and it completely worked, perfect fluffy rice within 20 minutes! Great for quick perfect rice. Even better than if I had made rice the traditional way on the stove. Very happy with this.

After a little trial and error the container does cook the rice quite well. Have to be careful when taking out of microwave and opening the top lid as can be quite hard to take off and is very hot.
