Cheesy Christmas Tree Bread

Ingredients

  • 370g/13oz pre-made pizza dough
  • Parchment paper
  • 4 mozzarella cheese sticks
  • 1 large egg + 1 tablespoon water for egg wash
  • 3 tbsp butter, melted
  • ½ cup grated parmesan cheese 
  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley, finely chopped
  • ½ tbsp fresh rosemary, finely chopped
  • ½ tbsp fresh basil, finely chopped
  • 1 clove garlic, diced

Method

  • Preheat the oven to 200°C/400°F.
  • Roll the dough into about 20 equal balls.
  • Line your Whatever Pan with some parchment paper.
  • Cut the mozzarella cheese sticks into small squares with your Chopaholic Oriental 3 Piece Chef's Knife Set.
  • Wrap the pieces of cheese in the dough. Roll it with your hands until smooth.
  • Place the dough ball in your Whatever Pan in the shape of a tree. Ensure that they’re touching one another.
  • Mix together the egg and water then use it to brush the dough balls.
  • Bake for 16-18 minutes or until golden brown.
  • Make the glaze by melting the butter. Mix it with the herbs, garlic, and half of the parmesan cheese.
  • Once the tree bread is cooked, brush the glaze onto the rolls and sprinkle the remaining parmesan cheese over the top.
  • Serve immediately and enjoy.
