- 250g/1/2lb ground beef
- 1.5 burger buns
- 2 slices American cheese
- 1 gherkin
- Lettuce
- Salt and pepper, to taste
Burger sauce
- 105g/½ cup mayonnaise
- 15g/1 tbsp yellow mustard
- 15g/1 tbsp garlic powder
- 15g/1 tbsp onion powder
- 7g/1½ tsp white pepper
- 15g/1 tbsp smoked paprika
- 1 tbsp white vinegar
Method
- Start by making your patties as thick as you like, then season with salt and pepper.
- Then, toast your burger buns in the Whatever Pan on medium heat until one of the sides is golden brown.
- Fry both patties for 2 and a half minutes a side and add a slice of cheese to each.
- For the burger sauce mix: mayonnaise, yellow mustard, garlic powder, onion powder, white pepper, smoked paprika and white vinegar. Set aside.
- Time to build this bad boy! Spread burger sauce on the bottom bun, sprinkle lettuce and gherkin. Add the patty with cheese and place another slice of bun.
- Add more sauce, shredded lettuce, gherkin slices, another patty and the last slice of bun.
- Dig in!
