Seared Asian Style Tuna Steak

These Asian style cooked tuna steak take only 10 minutes to make - they're healthy, crispy and seared on the outside, and medium-rare on the inside.

  • 2 Tuna steaks
  • 1 tbsp. olive oil
  • 1 tbsp. honey
  • 2 tbsp. soy sauce
  • Sesame seeds, handful
  • 1 green/spring onion, chopped 
  • 1 lime wedge 
  • Salt to taste

Method

  • Heat olive oil in your Whatever Pan over medium heat.
  • Then, add the tuna steaks with the honey, soy sauce, sesame seeds and salt.
  • Sear for 2 minutes each side and remove from heat. Allow to rest for at least 3 minutes. 
  • Slice into 1/2 inch slices
  • Serve garnished with green onions, toasted sesame seeds, and a squeeze of fresh lime juice.
